6- A hardened face that resembles a mask
Parkinson’s disease affects not only the movement of parts and extremities of the body but also affects facial expressions. Many patients with Parkinson’s facial expressions appear neutral and do not indicate a lot of feelings (Blank stare).
This is a common symptom of the disease in its early stages because the disease makes controlling small facial muscles somewhat difficult, and patients with Parkinson’s may tend to eyelash at a lower rate than usual.
