5- Changes in the voice
Parkinson’s disease affects movement in its various forms, including the method of speech.
Although this appears more acutely to the injured in the advanced stages, some minor changes to the voice and the way of speech begin to appear in the early stages of the disease, and this may not be very clear even to the person with it.
These changes usually begin in the form of a sound whose tone has begun to decrease, so that the matter may develop in the advanced stages of the disease, and the patient’s voice may become a whisper only.
