Taco Ranch Bites
Ingredients (Makes ~24 Bites)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or ground chicken/turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade mix)
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of cheddar & Monterey Jack)
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry sheets)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, diced tomatoes, jalapeños
Instructions
1. Cook the Taco Meat
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning + water, simmer until thickened (about 3–4 minutes).
2. Prep the Dough
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out crescent roll dough, cut into squares or keep as triangles.
- Press each piece into a mini muffin tin to form little cups.
3. Assemble
- Spoon a tablespoon of taco meat into each dough cup.
- Drizzle with ranch dressing.
- Sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
4. Bake
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
5. Finish & Serve
- Remove from oven, let cool for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and any optional toppings.
- Serve warm and watch them disappear!
